In 2019, a simple question sparked something extraordinary.
Bernadette Hagans — fashion lover, disability advocate, and proud prosthetic wearer — reached out to Carson Perry at Art in Motion with an idea: Could we wrap my prosthetic to match my dress for an event?
Of course, the answer was yes.
What started as a one-off design quickly became something more. Bernadette didn’t just walk into that event with a new look, she walked in with renewed confidence. A prosthetic that once felt clinical now felt like hers.
Since then, we've wrapped her leg for fashion shoots, TV appearances, day-to-day life, and even Miss Northern Ireland. And along the way, we realised something powerful: everyone deserves that same feeling.
Together, Carson and Bernadette created Wrapsthetic, the world’s first prosthetic wrap kit brand.
Based in Northern Ireland and shipping worldwide, we design easy-to-use wrap kits that help people of all ages personalise their prosthetics. Whether you're 6 or 60, you deserve to express yourself with style, pride, and freedom.
Each kit is printed using high-performance materials that move with you and last through real life. With a guided video, tools, and step-by-step instructions, you don’t need experience, just the desire to make your limb your own.

Bernadette is more than a model — she’s a movement. After losing her leg to cancer at 22, she chose not to hide her prosthetic, but to celebrate it. What started as a personal journey of acceptance quickly turned into something bigger, a way to help others feel proud of who they are and how they look.
She was the first amputee to walk in London Fashion Week, has graced the cover of Elle Bulgaria, and continues to inspire through her bold style and fearless storytelling.
“Prosthetics have always been designed to look medical. Wrapsthetic changes that. This is about self-expression, representation, and choice.”
Bernadette believes that empowerment starts with choice and that everyone deserves to feel seen, stylish, and strong in their own skin.

Carson has always believed in the power of design to spark emotion and when Bernadette came to him with an idea to wrap her prosthetic leg, he said yes without hesitation.
What followed wasn’t just a design experiment. It was a transformation. Carson saw firsthand how a simple wrap could boost confidence, shift perception, and bring joy.
As a creative director, he spent years developing templates, materials, and application methods that would be easy for anyone to use. And with Wrapsthetic, he’s made that vision global.
Carson continues to lead with heart, turning creative tools into real-world impact.
